Statement on serious RTC in Southport

We are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision in Southport this afternoon, Monday 20 March.
At around 1pm, emergency services were called to the junction of Duke Street and Part Street to reports of a collision involving a BMW, a Ford Mondeo and a Suzuki motorbike.
The motorcyclist, a man in his 30s, sustained serious injuries which will be assessed.
A road closure remains in place while our investigation continues.
