Officers arrested three people following the discovery of suspected drugs in Southport on Friday, 24 March.
At around 2.30pm officers were on patrol when they noticed a suspected drugs transaction in a Volvo estate car which was later stopped on Marine Drive.
A 32-year-old woman and a 21-year-old man from Southport were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs with intent to supply. They have been released under investigation.
A further search was conducted at a property on Forest Road and Karl Andrew Lord, 33 years, of Forest Road, was arrested and charged with controlled Class B drug (cannabis). He will appear at Sefton Magistrates on Wednesday 19 April.
