Officers have charged two men with burglary of a shop on the Field Lane Estate in Knowsley.
Just after 2am on Tuesday 28 March it was reported that two men broke into the Co-Op store on Alscot Avenue and stole a number of items.
Ian Crowley, 55 years, of no fixed address, and David Dickson, 46 years, of Peatwood Avenue in Kirkby have been charged with burglary.
Dickson has also been charged with one count of attempted burglary which took place on the Field Lane Estate earlier this month.
They will appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court Magistrates Court today, Wednesday 29 March.
