Detectives investigating a stabbing in Croxteth on Saturday, 12 March have charged a woman.
At around 6.30pm, we received a report that a 24-year-old man had been stabbed on Carr Lane East. Officers attended and an ambulance took the victim to hospital for treatment to chest and leg injuries. His current condition is described as critical.
Natalie Bennett, 46, of Carr Lane East has been charged with Section 18 wounding and will appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court today, Monday 13 March.
The other two people arrested have been conditionally bailed pending further enquiries.
