Detectives are appealing for information following a burglary in St Helens.
On Sunday 16 April officers received a report of burglary at a house on Lugsmore Lane that happened between Tuesday 11 April to Sunday 16 April.
It was reported that offenders broke into the house, ransacked the address and stole a Cartier watch and two gold lockets.
Detectives have carried out a number of CCTV and house-to-house enquiries in the area and are issuing these images of the jewellery that they believe could assist with their investigation.
Detective Inspector Barbara Hebden said: “Thankfully no one was harmed during this burglary, but the victims were left very distressed, as items of sentimental value that mean so much to the family were taken.
“Burglaries can have a massive impact on the person and families affected as they have had their home invaded which is an awful experience to go through and can often have a long-lasting impact on victims.
“Our detectives are fully investigating this incident and I would like to appeal to residents in the area to check their CCTV and doorbell footage to see if it may have captured anything which may help with our enquiries and contact us so we can stop this from happening again in our community.
“If you recognise or have recently seen the jewellery pictured online for sale then please let us know, as we believe this information could be vital to our ongoing investigation.”
