Police have charged a man with driving offences following a road traffic collision in Rainford on Sunday 28 May.
At around 9.30pm it was reported that a black Nissan car had collided with another car parked on Ormskirk Road and then drove off.
Gary Brian Sykes, 51 years, of Junction Road, Rainford has been charged driving a motor vehicle while the alcohol level is above the limit and failing to stop after a road accident.
He appeared at Liverpool Magistrates Court on Monday 29 May and has been bailed.
His next court hearing is on Thursday 29 June at Liverpool Magistrates Court.
