Man charged with possession of an imitation firearm

We have charged a man with possession of an imitation firearm following an incident in Norris Green.
It was reported on Sunday 21 May that a man had been seen on Lower House Lane in possession of a suspected firearm.
Michael Costello, 34, of Knighton Road, Liverpool, was arrested and charged with possession of an imitation firearm in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Tuesday 20 June.
