We have charged a man with knife offences as part of the ongoing Operation Sceptre.
Joseph Robinson, 31, of Mount Grove Place, Oxton, has been charged with two counts of being in possession of a knife blade/sharp pointed article in a public place.
He appeared at Wirral Magistrate’s Court today (Thursday 18 May), and has been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Thursday 15 June.
Operation Sceptre (15-21 May) is a national knife crime campaign, which is working alongside the force’s wider work to tackle knife crime and make communities safer.
