We can confirm that five people have been charged with various firearms and drugs offences following warrants carried out on Thursday 16 November.
Several warrants took place in Walton and Kirkdale as part of an ongoing operation to disrupt serious organised crime groups and the supply of drugs and firearms.
During the course of the day, we arrested seven people for various offences and we can now confirm that five people have been charged.
Lennon Forrester, aged 23, of no Fixed abode, has been charged with conspiring with others to possess ammunition with out a firearm certificate and conspiring with others to unlawfully supply controlled Class A drugs. Forester has been bailed and will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court on Tuesday 21 November.
Ashley Stephens, aged 30, of Abingdon Grove in Liverpool has been charged with conspiring with others to unlawfully supply controlled Class A drugs. Stephens has been bailed and will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court on Friday 17 November.
Carmina Clynch, aged 29, of Orchard Avenue in Liverpool has been charged with conspiring with others to unlawfully supply controlled Class A drugs. Clynch has been bailed and will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court on Friday 17 November.
Donna Fitzpartrick, aged 45, of Greenwich Court in Liverpool has been charged with conspiring with others to own a firearm without the authority of the Secretary of State, namely, a Skorpian machine pistol. Fitzpatrick has been bailed and will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court Friday 17 November.
Sharon Waring, aged 52, of York Street in Walton, has been charged with conspiring with others to unlawfully supply controlled Class B drugs. conspiring to possess a firearm without a certificate. Waring has been bailed and will appear at Liverpool, Knowsley, Sefton and St Helens Adult Remand Court Friday 17 November.
A man and a woman who were arrested on suspicion of various offences have been bailed pending further enquires.
Detective Chief Inspector Stephen Ball said: “Our officers remain relentless in our pursuit to remove any firearms, dangerous weapons or drugs from our streets and are actively working to make Merseyside a safer place to live and work.
“If you know anything about the storage, movement or use of firearms and dangerous drugs in your area, please come forward directly or anonymously via Crimestoppers.
“What you tell us may lead to other weapons being removed from circulation, and those communities becoming stronger, safer and secure.”
