We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision this morning, Friday 10 November, on Parr Street in St Helens.
Just before 8.15am emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving two pedestrians and a taxi.
Two teenage children have been taken to hospital. The 13-year-old boy has sustained a serious head injury which is not life threatening. The 14-year-old girl sustained a serious leg injury and cut to her head.
The driver has stopped at the scene and is assisting officers with their enquiries.
Parr Street Road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and has now reopened.
We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
