We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a car and a cyclist in St Helens earlier today, Thursday 12 October.
At around 11.35am, it was reported that a red Suzuki Ignis had collided with a male cyclist, aged in his 60s, on Parr Street.
The cyclist had been using a pedestrian crossing near its junction with Park Road when the collision occurred.
Emergency services attended and the cyclist was taken to hospital for treatment to a serious hip injury.
The driver of the vehicle stopped at the scene.
