A man has been arrested following a report that a woman was found unwell at an address in Prescot on Monday 2 October.
At around 9.35am it was reported that an 18-year-old woman was in need of medical attention and a man had left the address in a vehicle.
The woman is recovering in hospital.
Officers attended and while searching the property found two large bags of white powder suspected to be Class A drugs and a small quantity of brown powder suspected to be heroin.
A 48-year-old man was located at another address, which was also searched. He was arrested on suspicion of driving, drug and weapon offences. He has been bailed pending further enquiries.
