CCTV appeal following two burglaries in Liverpool

Detectives have issued CCTV images of two men who may have information that could assist enquiries following a report of two burglaries in Liverpool city centre.
 
At around 8.40pm on Saturday 23rd of September it was reported that a man broke into The Arch Student Accommodation and stole several electrical tools from the site before he was escorted from the area by security staff.
 
The man was then seen again entering the Arch on Tuesday 26 September at around 5.30am after he ran away from security staff at the site.
 
The second incident took place at a shop on Limekiln Lane just before 2.15am on the same morning (Tuesday 26 September) when a man entered through the roof of the store and stole alcohol, scratch cards and e-cigarettes. The offender then escaped back through the roof.
 
Since the burglary officers from Operation Assure - a dedicated burglary team enforced to investigate and decrease thefts and burglary in Liverpool have carried out extensive CCTV enquiries to identify the suspects and have now issued two images they believe could assist with their investigation.
 
Detective Inspector Darren Taylor said: “To target any place where people live or shop in our community is disgraceful behaviour and our officers are determined to establish the full circumstances and bring who ever is responsible to justice.
 
“Since the burglaries our officers have conducted a thorough investigation in the area and are now keen to speak to the men pictured as they may have vital information to help our enquiries.  
 
"If you know them, or the images jog your memory about anyone you may have seen on Saturday 23rd September or the following Tuesday morning please do let us know.
 
“Also if live in the area or own a business and have any CCTV or doorbell footage from these days please contact us so we can continue to investigate this incident.”
