Woman found guilty of the murder of Kasey Anderson

A woman has been found guilty of the murder of Kasey Anderson following an incident of domestic violence in Croxteth earlier this year.

Natalie Bennett (pictured above), 47, of Carr Lane East, was found guilty by a jury today, Wednesday 4 October, at Liverpool Crown Court.

Kasey (pictured below), aged 24, from Croxteth, was stabbed at around 6.30pm on Carr Lane East on Saturday 12 March.

Despite being taken to hospital with injuries to his chest and leg, Kasey sadly passed away in hospital on Friday 31 March.

Following an investigation, detectives were able to prove that Bennett used a knife to stab her boyfriend Kasey following a domestic incident.

Detective Inspector Ben Wayment said: “This was a vicious and calculated attack by Bennett that sadly resulted in the death of a young man.

“Our thoughts remain with Kasey’s family at this time and we hope this conviction brings them some comfort.”

Bennett will be sentenced on Friday 10 November.
