A man has been charged after he broke into a house and then attacked a woman in Prescot.
At around midnight on Monday 4 September we received a report that a man was making threats at a woman inside her house in Prescot. It was reported that the man broke into the house and caused damage to the property before he attacked a woman who tried to stop him.
Jamie Renshall, aged 37, of Johnson Avenue in Prescot has been charged with a number of offences.
He has been remanded into custody and appeared yesterday (Wednesday 27 September) at Merseyside Domestic Violence Remand Court. The case has been sent to Liverpool Crown Court.
