A teenager has been charged with drug offences in Liverpool, after being found in possession of 100 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.
A 17-year-old boy from Liverpool was arrested and later charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (crack cocaine and heroin), and possession of criminal property.
The boy was stopped by officers on Thursday (14 September) during a proactive County Lines operation and subsequently searched. He was found to be in possession of £425 in cash and 100 wraps of heroin and crack cocaine.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Youth Magistrate’s Court today, Friday 15 September.
The charges are part of Project Medusa, the force’s ongoing operation to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.
