Two Liverpool men were arrested following an incident in Norris Green on Monday 18th September.
It was reported that at around 4.30pm a member of staff was outside a fast-food outlet on Scargreen Avenue and turned around when he heard someone swearing, and as he did felt something hit his leg and saw a man across the road pointing BB gun at him.
The victim ran inside and didn’t sustain any injuries.
A 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of Section 39 assault and possession of an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence. He has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
A second man, Alfie Davern, 19 years, was arrested and charged with intimidating a witness intimidation.
Davern appeared at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Wednesday 20 September.
