A man has been detained after climbing onto a roof in Bootle on Thursday (11 April).
Emergency services were called to Stanley Road just after 7.30am following concern for the safety of a man on the roof of a property.
A short time after 11.30am, the man left the roof and was detained by officers on the ground.
A 43-year-old man from Liverpool has been arrested on suspicion of causing a public nuisance and criminal damage, after damage was caused to roof tiles.
He has been taken to hospital for assessment.
