A Halewood man has been charged with drugs offences as part of Operation Venetic.
Phillip Richards, 43, of Lakenheath Road, was arrested yesterday, Wednesday 17th April.
He has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A (cocaine and heroin), and Class B (cannabis and amphetamine) drugs.
He has been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Wirral Magistrates Court this morning, Thursday 18th April.
The charge forms part of the Merseyside Police response to Operation Venetic: a national investigation into the use of Encrochat encrypted mobile devices.
