We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle this morning, Thursday 25 April.
At around 8.30am, we received a report of a collision on St James Street involving a black Mercedes E-class car and a marked police van which was responding to an emergency incident.
Both drivers sustained a slight injury.
An investigation into the collision is being carried out, and we are appealing for anyone who saw the collision, or who has dashcam footage, to contact police as soon as possible.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or captured anything on CCTV or dashcam is asked to contact police via @MerPolCC on Twitter (X) or ‘Merseyside Police Contact Centre’ on Facebook, with log 219 of 25 April.
