We can confirm that a 16-year-old boy has been charged with multiple robbery offences in Wirral.
Between Sunday 7 May and Monday 15 May last year, we received multiple reports of bike robberies and attempted robberies on Greasby Road, Leasowe Road, Cameron Road, Hoylake Road and Ripon Road.
A 16-year-old, who can’t be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Friday 19 May 2023 and following an extensive investigation he has now been charged with two counts of robbery, two counts of conspiracy to commit robbery and three counts of attempted robbery. He has also been charged with being concerned in the supply of a controlled Class B drug.
He has been conditionally bailed to appear in Merseyside Youth Court on Tuesday 28 May.
