Detectives have charged two men following an armed robbery in Tranmere last weekend.
At around 9.50pm on Sunday 21 April, two men reportedly entered PSV Food and Wine on Derby Road and stole cash, cigarettes and alcohol.
Following enquiries, two men were arrested.
Mark Gardener, 29, of Whetstone Lane, has been charged with Robbery and Possession of a knife in a public place.
Kurtis Lamptey, 22, of Whetstone Lane, has been charged with Robbery.
Both men were remanded in custody to appear at Wirral Adult Remand Court today, Tuesday 23 April.
