A woman has been charged with the murder of 90-year-old Myra Thompson who was found deceased in her home on Bolde Way, Spital in Wirral earlier this week on 23 April.
Detectives have charged Jane Hill, 51 years, of Norwich Drive, Upton, with murder and theft.
She has been remanded into custody.
A 48-year-old man from Wirral has been released with no further action in relation to the murder, however he remains under investigation for theft.
