We are appealing for information following a serious road traffic collision involving a car and cyclist in Bootle.
At around 11.15pm on Sunday 18 August, it was reported that a cyclist had been involved in a collision with a car at the roundabout at Hawthorne Road and Breeze Hill, next to Early Learners Day Nursery.
The driver briefly stopped at the scene to help the cyclist, but then left without exchanging details or calling emergency services.
The cyclist, a man aged in his 30s, self-presented at hospital and was treated for a broken wrist, cheekbone and eye socket.
We are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or were driving past at the time of the incident and has dashcam footage, to please get in touch.
Similarly, if you live in the area and have CCTV, please review it from Sunday 18 August at around 11.15pm to see if you captured anything.
