We are issuing CCTV images in connection with a burglary at a restaurant in Aigburth.
At around 2.40am on Monday, 12 August, access was forced to Love and Rockets on Lark Lane and cash was stolen.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and detectives would like to identify those pictured as they may have information to assist. One male is of average build, wearing a dark coloured hooded top and trainers, with a head torch, face mask and gloves. The second male is also of average build, wearing a dark coloured tracksuit top, black gilet and gloves.
Detective Inspector Christopher Carlin said: “We understand access was gained via Hadassah Grove and two men forced open a safe. We are hoping that someone will recognise the men in the CCTV images and will come forward with information to help our investigation.
“If you recognise any of the men or were passing by and saw or captured anything let us know, and we will respond to all information to find those responsible and put them before the courts.”
