We are releasing CCTV images of a male we want to speak with because we believe he could have information about a reported robbery in Sefton Park.
At around 5am on Sunday 4 August, it was reported that a 19-year-old male was sat on a bench near Oasis in the Park café, which is within Sefton Park, when he was approached by two males on pedal bikes.
The two males have threatened the victim, claiming they have a knife, before taking his cash and bank cards.
Extensive enquiries are ongoing and detectives would like to identify the male pictured as he may have information to assist.
Detective Inspector Chris Carlin said: “Our investigation is ongoing into this incident and if you recognise the male pictured, please come forward.
“Although the images are not of the best quality, we are hoping that his appearance, clothing and the circumstances of this incident will prompt people with information to come forward.”
