Kirkby man rearrested in connection with the murder of Rikki Berry

Detectives have rearrested a man in connection with the murder of Rikki Berry in Kirkby on Wednesday 17 July.

The 26-year-old, from Kirkby, was rearrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm. He is now in custody for questioning.

A second 26-year-old man, also from Kirkby, remains in custody. He was arrested yesterday on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm.

On Friday 26 July detectives charged Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, with murder. Williams is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 1 November.

Detectives have arrested a total of 12 people in connection with the investigation.
