Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of Rikki Berry in Kirkby on Wednesday 17 July.
On Tuesday 6 August, a 26-year-old man from Kirkby was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm. He has been taken into police custody to be interviewed.
On Friday 26 July detectives charged Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, with murder. Williams is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Friday 1 November.
Detectives have now arrested a total of 12 people in connection with the investigation.
