Two men have been arrested after a warrant was executed at industrial units in Knowsley and a hoard of suspected stolen vehicles were found.
On Wednesday 21 August, officers carried out a search of industrial units on Shannons Lane in Prescot and found 34 suspected stolen Surron bikes, scramblers and quad bikes on the premises. A Ford van and Fiesta car which are also suspected to be stolen were also located on the site.
The next day, Thursday 22 August, officers arrested two men aged 25 and 27 years from Croxteth on suspicion of handling stolen goods. They have been released under investigation with enquiries ongoing.
Knowsley Policing Inspector Andy Robinson said: "These two arrests were part of our proactive work to ensure we take offenders off our streets.
“We are relentless in pursuing those involved in criminality across Knowsley.
“Our work to bring these people to justice will continue on a daily basis and I would ask anyone who has information about this kind of activity to come forward so action can be taken.”
