Two charged with violent disorder

We have charged two more people in connection with disorder in Southport on Tuesday (30 July) and Liverpool city centre on Saturday (3 August).

Philip Prescot, 38 years, of Sefton Street, Southport has been charged with violent disorder in connection with the disorder in Southport. 

David Frank Hill, 38 years, of Bianca Street, Bootle has been charged with violent disorder in Liverpool city centre. 

Both have been remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court at 9.45am on Wednesday 7 August.  

It brings the total charged in connection with recent disorder to 15.
