Appeal following two-car collision in St Helens

We are appealing for information following a road traffic collision today, Thursday 26 December, in St Helens.

Just after 2.40pm emergency services were called to a report of a collision involving two cars, a blue Mini Copper and a grey Ford Fiesta, on Burrows Lane.

Two people sustained slight injuries and have been taken to hospital to be checked over.

A road closure is in place on Burrows Lane while we dealt with this incident, and it will be reopened shortly.

We are appealing for any witnesses, CCTV and dash camera footage which may assist the investigation.
