Appeal for information following serious collision in Old Swan

We can confirm that an investigation is ongoing following a serious collision in Old Swan yesterday, Sunday 22 December.

At around 6.40pm, emergency services were called to the junction of Prescot Road and Herrick Street to reports of a collision involving a Nissan Qashqai and a KTM off-road motorcycle. 

The rider, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital and is currently in a serious but stable condition. CCTV and witness enquiries are ongoing.

Matrix Roads Policing Inspector Ian Cowell said: “If you saw this incident or the bike being ridden in the area around this time, please come forward and share any information, dashcam, CCTV or doorbell footage, which could prove vital to our enquiries.”
