We have seized cash and a Rolex watch after a car was stopped in Wirral yesterday, Tuesday 10 December.
A Matrix officer on mobile patrol stopped a Ford Focus on Wheatland Lane in Egremont at around 2.40pm.
Following a search of the car a large quantity of cash was recovered. A further search of a property in Wirral recovered a quantity of suspected drugs, a large quantity of cash and a Rolex watch.
A 25-year-old man from Tranmere was arrested on suspicion of acquire/use/possess criminal property, possession of a Class A drug (cocaine) and possession of a Class B drug (cannabis). He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
A 24-year-old man from Egremont was arrested on suspicion of drug driving. He has been released under investigation pending further enquiries.
