Detectives have issued CCTV footage and images of two men who could assist with their enquiries following a reported residential burglary in Wavertree last month.
It was reported that between 6am and 7.30am on Friday 29 November, three men entered a flat on Smithdown Road and stole a number of items including an XBOX console, laptop and Apple air pods, jacket, pedal bicycle and kitchen equipment.
No one was injured during the incident.
Police attended the property and an investigation commenced with extensive CCTV and witness enquiries being carried out.
Detectives have now issued images of two men they believe could assist with their investigation.
Detective Constable Gianluca Clemente said: “This was a very distressing experience for the occupants who were left in a state of shock, and I would urge anyone who saw three men acting suspiciously on Smithdown Road to please contact us.
“We believe the burglars brazenly returned to the property a second time to steal more goods from the property.
“Burglaries can have a massive impact on the person and families affected as they have had their home invaded which is an awful experience to go through and can often have a massive and long-lasting impact on victims.
“I am appealing for the two men featured in the CCTV footage and two images, or anyone who recognises them to come forward. We believe they could hold information that could be vital to our continuing enquiries.
“We also encourage people to come forward if you know anything about the incident or someone selling the stolen goods which will help with our investigation.”
