The family of Lin Donnelly who sadly died in a road traffic collision on the border of Bootle and Kirkdale last night, Thursday 12 December, have paid tribute.
Emergency services were called to Brewster Street at 7.45pm following a collision involving a blue Ford Focus and a pedestrian on Brewster Street.
The pedestrian, 72-year-old Lin Donnelly, was taken to hospital, where she sadly died a short time later.
Lin’s family have issued the following statement: “Words can’t describe the pain in our hearts at the unbearable loss of you. Our life will never be the same without you.”
A 46-year-old man from Liverpool was arrested on suspicion of causing death by careless driving. He has been interviewed and bailed pending further enquiries.
