Liverpool man arrested in Spain in connection with violent disorder and assault in Liverpool city centre

A Liverpool man has been arrested in Spain in connection with violent disorder and a serious assault which took place in Liverpool city centre in the early hours of 27 December 2023.

The 27-year-old, who is from the Vauxhall area, was arrested in Marbella on Thursday 19 December.

Merseyside Police are currently arranging the extradition of this man back to England so that he can be dealt with regarding the matter.

Officers were contacted on the morning of Wednesday 27 December 2023 following reports a man was stabbed in Liverpool city centre. A further two males also self-presented at hospital with injuries.
