Road closure following incident in Speke

We can confirm that a road closure is in place in Speke due to an incident this morning, Thursday 19 December.
At around 6.10am, officers were called to Speke Road, near to the Knowsley Expressway, following a report that a HGV vehicle had overturned.
Speke Road is now closed in both directions while we deal with this incident.
Please avoid the area including Speke Boulevard if possible and thank you for your patience.
