We have charged a 29-year-old Wirral man with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Officers on patrol in Wirral stopped a Ford Fiesta on Sandrock Road in Wallasey at around 2.25pm yesterday, Monday 30 December.
Following a search of the car a quantity of cash, a large amount of suspected wraps of cocaine and a mobile phone were recovered.
Following a further search of a property a knuckle duster was also recovered.
Lewis Langan, of Birchwood Close, Birkenhead, has been charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of an offensive weapon and possession of criminal property.
He was remanded into custody to appear in court in Wirral today, Tuesday 31 December.
The investigation involves Project Medusa as part of ongoing efforts to tackle County Lines drug dealing and child criminal exploitation.
