A sixth man has has been arrested in connection with a stabbing in Liverpool city centre last month.
At around 5.30am on 27 December, patrols located a 21-year-old man at the junction of Church Street and Whitechapel with life threatening stab wounds to his chest. Three other men, aged 21, 23, and 20, were also injured.
The sixth man, arrested last night in connection with this incident, is a 29-year-old from Everton. He has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder and violent disorder and has been taken to a police station where he will be questioned by detectives.
Five other males arrested were charged yesterday and will be appearing at Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court today (Saturday, 6 January).
