We are appealing for information following a non-injury firearms discharge in Toxteth earlier this month.
At around 8pm on Thursday 4 January, it was reported that a house had been shot at on Arnold Crescent, causing damage to the property. There were no reported injuries.
It was reported that two males armed with a firearm had been on electric bike outside the home before the incident occurred and had opened fire towards the property.
Extensive CCTV and witness enquiries have been carried out since the incident and our investigation is ongoing to find the people responsible.
We are appealing for anyone with information to please get in touch. If you live in the area or were driving past at the time of the incident, please review your CCTV and dashcam footage to see if you captured anything significant.
Chief Inspector Charlotte Irlam said: “Thankfully nobody was injured in this incident, but we are committed to finding those responsible and bringing them to justice.
“We understand the concern that these incidents will cause for our local communities, but please be reassured that we are determined to rid the streets of firearms and find those involved in serious organised crime.
“We relentlessly pursue those suspected as being involved in gun crime and we need the public to be our eyes and ears and tell us what they know so that we can take positive action.
“If you witnessed the incident, or who has doorbell footage, or any information which could help us with our inquiries to come forward. I would also like to appeal to any motorists who were in the area, who may have captured the incident on dashcam footage to get in touch.”
If you have information in relation to this incident then please call Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111, quoting reference number 24000026560.
