We are investigating following a serious injury road traffic collision that occurred in the early hours of Monday 22nd January on Liverpool Road in Crosby.
At around 00:10am a blue Volvo S60 was involved in a collision with a 19-year-old male pedestrian close to Merchant Taylors Girls School. The pedestrian suffered serious leg injuries.
The vehicle involved failed to stop at the scene of the collision and officers from Merseyside Police’s Roads Policing Department are requesting help in locating where the vehicle went after the collision.
It is believed it was parked up in the Crosby/Waterloo area from Monday 22nd January through to Thursday 25th January.
