On Wednesday 10 January officers were patrolling the Prescot area when they smelt cannabis coming from a property.
Rimantas Leonavicius, 54 years, of Rowson Street, Prescot has been charged with the production of a Class B drug, namely cannabis, and abstracting electricity.
He has been remanded into custody to appear in court at a later date.
