A man has been charged with criminal damage and assault following an incident at Wirral Magistrates Court in November 2023.
On Thursday 9 November last year, we received a report that a man who was appearing at the court for separate offences had caused damage to the courtroom and assaulted prison custody officers.
During the incident, three prison custody officers sustained minor injuries.
Peter Hill, 37, of no fixed abode, has been charged with three counts of assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage, affray and two counts of threatening to destroy or damage property.
He has also been charged with two additional counts of assaulting an emergency worker following a separate incident on Friday 5 January 2024.
He has been remanded into custody and will appear at Wirral Magistrates Court today (Monday 8 January).
