Two men have been charged after 28 wraps of suspected class A drugs were found by officers during a strip search at a property in Anfield.
At around 7pm on Sunday 28 January officers searching a premises on Suburban Road spotted two men acting suspiciously inside. The two men were then strip searched by officers who found 11 wraps of brown powder, suspected to be heroin located in the coat pocket of one man and 17 wraps of white rock, suspected to be crack cocaine secreted inside the other man.
Patrick Doyle, aged 32, of Benton Close, Liverpool and Samuel Thomas, aged 61 of Vanbrugh Road, Liverpool were arrested and subsequently charged with possession of heroin and cocaine yesterday evening.
They were bailed to Liverpool and Knowsley Magistrates Court and will appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Monday 11 March.
