We can confirm that emergency services were called to a concern for safety of a man in Beechwood today, Thursday 1 August.
Just before 4pm, we received a report of a concern for safety of a man in his 20s at an address on Fender Way.
He was sadly pronounced deceased at the scene by paramedics.
The man has been formally identified and his next of kin are in the process of being contacted.
Two men aged 43 and 27 years from Beachwood have been arrested on suspicion of murder. They are still in police custody to be questioned.
A post mortem examination will take place to establish the cause of death.
Detective Inspector Phil Ryan said: “It is with great sadness that we confirm that a man was found dead at a property on Fender Way.
“We are in the very early stages of the investigation as we seek to establish what has taken place and how he died.
“We urge anyone who may have seen or know something that might help with the investigation to please contact us.”
