** UPDATE - THURSDAY 25 JULY**
Stephen Morgan, 60, of Stevenson Street, Liverpool has been charged with three counts of possessing an offensive weapon in a private place, acquire/use/possess criminal property, possess with intent to supply Class A drugs (heroin) and possession of a Class B drug (cannabis).
He was remanded into custody to appear at Wirral adult remand court today, Thursday 25 July.

A man was arrested today, Wednesday 24 July, after a warrant was executed at a property in Wavertree where drugs, cash and a replica grenade were seized.
At 08.10am officers and emergency services were present at Stevenson Street following a report that a possible grenade was inside a property.
Explosive Ordnance Disposal (EOD) team confirmed that the item was a replica and it has now been removed.
A cordon was put in place and it has now been lifted.
Officers from Liverpool Targeted Policing Team and are currently carrying out a search of the property and have found more than 2000 wraps of suspected Class A and B drugs (suspected heroin, cocaine and cannabis) and a large amount of cash.
A high-value watch has also been seized.
A 60-year-old man from Wavertree has been arrested on suspicion of possessing controlled Class A and B drugs and possession of an offensive weapon. He is still in police custody to be questioned.
We are appealing to members of the public for information if you know about the use and storage of drugs and weapons where you live, as this could be vital in helping with our enquires in removing firearms off the streets.
Inspector Liverpool Targeted Policing Team, Ivan Martin said: “This proactive policing supports the work we do every day to tackle offending in our communities. Stop checks, search warrants, land searches and arrests take place all year round across Merseyside to prevent criminality from taking place in our neighbourhoods.
“I would encourage members of the public to come forward with information on those involved in criminal activity so that we can continue to take action. Information from the public is vital if we are to breakdown the organised crime groups who bring misery to our streets.”
