Man arrested in connection with the murder of Rikki Berry in Kirkby

Detectives have arrested a man in connection with the fatal shooting of Rikki Berry in Kirkby on Wednesday 17 July.

Yesterday, Wednesday 31 July, a 26-year-old man from Kirkby was arrested on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm. He has been released on police bail with conditions.

On Friday 26 July detectives charged Adam Williams, of Bigdale Drive, Kirkby, with murder. Williams is next due to appear at Liverpool Crown Court in on Friday 1 November.

Detectives have so far arrested 10 people in connection with the investigation and they have been bailed pending further enquiries.
