We can confirm that a man has been charged with drugs supply offences following an incident on Monday 1 July.
Officers investigating County Lines drug dealing and acting on intelligence identified a vehicle travelling back from Glastonbury and it was subsequently stopped by patrols on Higher Road, in Halewood, and four people were arrested.
Thomas Eden, 30, of Lovel Road, in Speke, has been charged with being concerned in the supply of cocaine and heroin. He has been remanded into custody to appear at Liverpool Crown Court on Wednesday 31 July.
A 27-year-old woman from Speke, who was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of Class A drugs (cocaine) and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs (MDMA), has been released under investigation.
No further action will be taken with regards to a 40-year-old woman and a 38-year-old man who were also arrested.
