Detectives investigating the murder of Rikki Berry in Kirkby on Wednesday 17 July have arrested three people on suspicion of murder and possession of a firearm.
The arrests were made in Oswestry in Shropshire, by West Mercia Police, on behalf of Merseyside Police, earlier today, Wednesday 24 July.
Those arrested are a 24-year-old man of no fixed abode, a 25-year-old man from Kirkby and a 21-year-old woman from Kirkby. They are all currently in custody.
This brings the number of arrests to nine in connection with the investigation. Six people have been bailed pending further enquiries.
