Three arrests in Bidston drugs warrants

We arrested three people after executing three warrants targeting organised crime in Bidston on Thursday (25 July).
 
Officers were supported by the Dog Section, targeted officers, investigations and the drone team.
 
A 37-year-old man and 32-year-old woman, both from Bidston, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class B controlled drugs (cannabis), and possession of criminal property (money laundering). 
 
A 34-year-old man from Bidston was arrested on suspicion of handling stolen goods,  possession with intent to supply Class B controlled drugs (cannabis).
 
Officers also seized a crossbow that has been taken for forensic examination.
 
All three have been release under investigation while enquiries continue.
 
Sergeant Peter Hanson said: “Criminals involved in the supply of illegal drugs bring nothing but misery to our communities. 
 
“It is a trade that depends on violence and intimidation to exist, and involves the exploitation of some of the most vulnerable people in our communities.
 
“We count on the support of the public to tell us where drug dealing is happening so if you have any information about drug dealing, please contact us and we will do the rest.”
